This position reports to Service Manager Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work of medium to high complexity as per work instructions and ABB guidelines. Each day, you will deliver excellent customer service to satisfy customers. You will also showcase your expertise by working with customers to identify opportunities in the installed base, to improve system performance and operational performance. The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite This role contributes to the service operations department of the Motion unit in Portugal. You will be mainly accountable for: Contributing to customer satisfaction by planning and executing technical service work as per customer order and expectations. Ensuring customer retention by delivering superior customer experience and effectively communicating service work timeline and expectations. Taking actions to identify new service business opportunities for ABB, in close cooperation with customers and other ABB teams. Coaching technicians and engineers and supervising complex site activities. Qualifications for the role You are highly skilled to perform medium to high complexity services, like installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and retrofits of low voltage and medium voltage drives and operate independently, identifying technical problems and making analysis through remote or onsite activity. You have 5 years of experience in field service and workshop repairs, service & support or project execution in Industry. Highly adept in servicing, maintaining, commissioning, and repairing low voltage and medium voltage drives. You are passionate about AC/DC drives, power electronics, and motors. Degree in electrical engineering or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or proven experience of service with drives. You are at ease communicating in Portuguese and English. You hold a current driver's license type B (car) valid in Portugal and Portuguese work permit. Willing to travel throughout Portugal and to be rotationally on call 24/7.
