Your Role As a Senior DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) for our Sea Allocation product, you will work with an international product team supporting and enhancing our mission-critical application, connecting Kuehne+Nagel to our customers and external partners worldwide, 24/7, 365 days a year.
Your Responsibilities Participate in the management of our mission critical application.
Perform the installation, configuration and administration of integration, test and production systems.
Constantly improve and adapt monitoring, logging and alerting systems.
Identify, break and resolve issues with our shared middleware components using structured troubleshooting approaches.
Analyze complex communication scenarios and provide 3rd level operations support.
Your Skills and Experiences Several years of experience in a similar position.
Strong analytical mindset and problem solving skills (log analysis, etc.), passion for solving complex technical challenges.
Strong communication skills, passionate about interacting with internal and external customers as well as other teams from around the world.
Experience in operating Java, RHEL-based applications.
Expert knowledge of troubleshooting enterprise database systems (Oracle and PostgreSQL preferred).
Writing skills to automate routine tasks (example: Python, Bash).
Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CI / CD tools like Ansible and Jenkins.
Experience with AWS.
Fluency in verbal and written English is required.
