Job Description
Your contribution to something big:
You will have the opportunity to join one of the Heat Pumpapplication software development teams of the Electric Solutions group at Bosch Home Confort, located in Aveiro. Your work will focus onimproving and maintaining continuous build and delivery systems for a model-based development platform. You will optimize the software development pipeline and toolsfrom coding and deployment to maintenance and updates. Heat pumps offer a heating and/or cooling solution for the household, as well as domestic hot water, for the best and most efficient comfort at home.
In this position, you will:
Take part of an agile team where you will take charge of DevOps topics for a model-based software platform: Support to design, monitoring, improve and maintain continuous build and delivery systems for the software development teams, in close collaboration with other sites.
Improve and design tooling solution that helps accelerate development and delivery processes.
Contribute to the definition and automation of the development processes.
Take responsibility that your work meets high quality standards.
Support the model-based software development in running projects.
Qualifications
What distinguishes you:
Degree in Computer Science, Software engineering, Electrical Engineering,Informaticsor similar.
Experience in the domain of CI/CD.
Proficient with Bash, Git, Python, Go, C.
Expertise in OO programming beneficial, e.g. in Python, Go, C++.
Knowledge of DevOps methodologies and its tooling landscape, e.g. Jenkins, SonarQube, jFrog Artifactory, Bitbucket, Jira or Github.
Experience in code deployment and IaC tools such as Ansible and Terraform is beneficial.
Knowledge and experience in Windows and Linux server administration is beneficial.
Experience with Maven, REST APIs, MATLAB/Simulink and Conan helps but is not mandatory.
Experience in NoSQL databases such as MongoDB is beneficial.
Effective communication skills (in Portuguese and English), and willingness to collaborate with an international team - this includes willingness for occasional business travel.
Teamwork spirit with eagerness to learn and share knowledge with others.
Sense of responsibility and proactive attitude that helps the team and improves customer experience.
Organized and motivated/self-driven, breaking down your own activities and supporting your manager and team in planning future tasks
