The ideal candidate will be responsible for analysing existing programs, constructing AS-IS technical documentation, and performing detailed impact and performance analyses. You will also be involved in proposing and implementing improvements, preparing and maintaining technical documentation, and carrying out development corrections and evolutions. This role requires close interaction with functional analysis teams and proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and DBEAVER. Experience with PL/SQL programming, preferably in Informix 4GL, is essential.Key Responsibilities:Program Analysis & Documentation:Conduct in-depth analysis of existing programs and construct comprehensive AS-IS technical documentation.Perform impact and performance analyses, identifying areas for improvement.Change Proposals & Technical Documentation:Develop documentation for change proposals, including detailed estimates.Prepare and update technical documentation as needed throughout the development life cycle.Development & Testing:Implement development corrections and evolutions based on identified needs.Design and execute technical tests to ensure the integrity and performance of the solution.Deploy solutions in non-productive environments, ensuring seamless integration and operation.Collaborate effectively with functional analysis teams to ensure alignment between technical and functional requirements.Produce high-quality technical documentation in English, suitable for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Utilize tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management and documentation tools to track progress and document processes.Employ DBEAVER or similar database tools for database management and analysis.Leadership & Team Management (Nice to Have):Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.Assist in managing and coordinating team efforts to ensure successful project delivery.Qualifications:Technical Expertise:Proven experience in programming with PL/SQL, preferably in Informix 4GL.Strong ability to conduct impact and performance analysis.Documentation & Analysis:Demonstrated ability to prepare detailed technical documentation and change proposals.Experience in conducting technical tests and deploying in non-productive environments.Proficient in using JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools for project management and documentation.Proficient in using DBEAVER or similar database tools.Communication Skills:Strong ability to produce clear and concise technical documentation in English.Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.Leadership Experience (Nice to Have):Experience in managing teams or leading technical projects is a plus.Education & Experience:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.5+ years of experience in a senior developer role with a focus on PL/SQL programming and technical documentation.
