The Role:
As part of this team, you will lead and work with individual Delivery Leads to expand, uplift and develop the Delivery perspective across Sportsbook@COO and Global Services.
In collaboration with the Head of Planning & Delivery you will continue the transformation of ways of working and the role of Delivery Leads. By working closely with Heads of Product and Engineering you will ensure effective collaboration between Product, Delivery and Engineering, to stay aligned on continuous improvement opportunities. Your role will work closely with other senior contributors across Product, Delivery, and Engineering, consulting with Architecture, QA and Service Operations, to ensure our people are being developed in alignment with the vision and strategy.
What You'll Be Doing:
Senior Delivery Lead Manager:
People manager for Delivery Leads, driving the evolution of Delivery and providing an exciting and rewarding career path for the team.
Sets high standards of execution through their own actions and through knowledge sharing with the wider team.
Continuous Improvement:
Seeks out opportunities to break down barriers and is a role model of collaborative leadership, knowing when to seek a variety of viewpoints when leading discussions, developing solutions or strategies.
Has a track record of using their own initiative to identify, take ownership of, and deliver against impactful issues or growth opportunities within their area.
Challenges behaviours misaligned to company values and sets standards through their own behaviours.
Champions the importance of removing waste, balancing workload, and improving dependency processes.
Delivery Community:
Leader of a Delivery community to expand, uplift and develop the Delivery perspective, connecting with Delivery practices across Flutter.
Gains trust and support of others, generous with time, advice and knowledge, delicately promoting the benefits of agile to the whole organization.
Thought leader and teacher of Agile practices, intelligent tooling, emphasizing the importance of social learning.
We'd Like You To Master In:
Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills.
Prior delivery manager / lead experience.
Has an eye for continuous improvement needs and frameworks to enable improvement.
Experience working in software delivery and understanding the delivery process.
Ability to engage with and get the best out of people in teams.
Ability to work through a large set of unknowns and translate them into effective plans.
Experience of leading teams (or virtual teams) and developing talent.
