Senior Data Governance And Data Quality Expert

Location: Hybrid – Portugal – Lisbon or Porto

Tasks Data Governance Implementation: Develop and implement the foundational elements of the data governance framework, including policies, procedures, standards, and roles. Data Quality Management: Lead initiatives to improve data quality across the organization, including defining data quality metrics, conducting data quality assessments, and implementing remediation plans. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business units, IT teams, and other stakeholders to promote data governance and data quality best practices, ensuring buy-in and alignment with organizational goals. Strategic Alignment: Ensure that data governance initiatives are aligned with the organization's strategic priorities, addressing key data challenges and enhancing data-driven decision-making. Change Management: Drive change management efforts to embed data governance practices into the organization's culture and operational processes. Monitoring and Reporting: Establish mechanisms to monitor data governance and data quality performance, reporting on progress and identifying areas for continuous improvement. Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver training and awareness programs to educate stakeholders on data governance and data quality principles and their importance. Requirements Over 7 years of experience in data governance, data quality, or related data management fields. Proven track record of implementing data governance frameworks and data quality initiatives in large, complex organizations. Strong understanding of data governance principles, best practices, and tools. Experience in defining and managing data quality metrics, and implementing data quality improvements. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive change at all levels of the organization. Strategic mindset with the ability to align data governance initiatives with business priorities. Benefits 1 year contract + extension Daily rate up to 400EUR per day Hybrid Role (Lisbon or Porto)
