What will you be doing?
Build and optimize data pipelines and data lakes/warehouses – Azure cloud environment;
Build metadata-driven Data Pipeline;
Create and enhance data solutions enabling seamless delivery of data and is responsible for collecting, parsing, managing and analyzing large sets of data;
Design, develop, automate, and support complex applications to extract, transform, and load data.
What are we looking for?
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar;
Proven experience within data engineering roles;
Experience with Azure cloud environment: designing, building, testing and maintaining cloud applications and related services;
Strong understanding of Azure core concepts: Azure Data Storage, Azure Compute, Data Connections, APIs, Databrieks, Data Factory, and Azure Synapse;
Knowledge of MS BI (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS), ETL design/development;
Experience in SQL – joins/co-related queries/sub-queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, view;
Written and verbal communication skills in English (valued B1) and Portuguese (native);
Hybrid work model: initially it will be remote, with the prospect of a hybrid model in the future (Lisbon);
Residency in Portugal – Citizenship or Work Visa/Residence Card (we can consider candidates in Brazil with an interest of moving to Portugal).
