Senior Data Engineer Officer (M/F) – Hybrid (Porto)

We are empowered with multidisciplinary competences and know-how in IT, which allow us to contribute, optimize and move forward with our clients.We are currently recruiting for integration in our internal team/client, professionals with the following profile:Senior Data Engineer Officer (m/f) – Hybrid (Porto)What do you need to have:Hard Skills:Bachelor's Degree or higher in a technical major, such as engineering, computer science, or a related field. A master's in a relevant field is a plus.6+ years experience as a Data Engineer.Deep understanding of the software development cycle (development, deployment & support of large-scale data lake / warehouse / Mesh).Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with programming languages – Python, Scala/PySpark are a plus.Strong ability to manipulate, transform, and clean large and complex data sets. Experience with data wrangling, ETL processes and reporting solutions – Alteryx is a plus.Knowledge in data mesh concepts/tools and implementation is preferred - Starburst and Trino.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically, analyze complex problems, and derive actionable insight from data.Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and collaborate with individuals from diverse backgrounds and areas of expertise.
