Job Description:We're seeking a Senior Data Engineer to enhance our Data Science Team in a P2030 project. In this role, you'll focus on implementing and managing data pipelines/workflows that support machine learning models and scale analytics. Your responsibilities will include designing ETL processes, ensuring data quality, and deploying ML models to production.Responsibilities:Create efficient ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading.Ensure quality data by implementing validation checks and monitoring.Collaborate with data scientists to deploy ML models into production.Optimize data pipelines for scalability and performance.Build solutions to monitor performance of the data pipelines deployed and take corrective measures when necessary.Work closely with software engineers, product managers, and data scientists.Communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders through clear and compelling presentations and reports.Take part in innovation projects and collaborate closely with academic institutions.Qualifications:Experience:Minimum of 5 years in a data engineering role.Technical Skills:Proficiency in ETL tools (Apache Spark, Databricks, Airflow).Proficiency in Python and strong SQL knowledge for data manipulation and querying.Able to work with relational databases (MongoDB).Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platform.Experience with Linux OS and Docker.Experience with Infrastructure as Code technologies (Terraform).Experience with CI/CD pipelines and good software development practices, including version control, code organization, and testing.Knowledge in MLOps.Experience working in an agile (Scrum or Kanban) framework.Ability to share knowledge and mentor junior team members.Good analytical skills.Very good understanding of data models.Eager to learn and work with the newest technologies.High initiative and ability to work independently.Solution-oriented, pragmatic, with an eye for detail and capable of explaining decisions and results.Evangelist of best practices in ML-based software development.Good communication skills.Fluent in English.Education:MSc degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.Additional Information:If you're a proactive, analytical thinker with a passion for building robust data pipelines, we encourage you to apply!Hybrid regime - 2 days at the office in Ovar.Work #Like ABosch includes:Flexible work conditionsHybrid work systemExchange with colleagues around the worldHealth insurance and medical office on site (nutrition, psychology, physiotherapy, general clinic)Training opportunities (technical training, foreign languages training) & certificationsAccess to great discounts in partnerships and Bosch productsSports and health related activities (gym)Free parking lotCanteenSuccess stories don't just happen.
