Job Description Your mission: Own your product experience : We are a development-driven company, and we are searching for someone that take it seriously when coding a customer-facing product and understand the impact it can create on our customers. You will have a voice within the team and be able to improve the product together with the Product Designer and other developers. Build with data : We are a data-driven company, so that means we are always walking towards less opinions and more data to back up our decisions. We measure our goals so we can make sure we are truly offering the best solution for our merchants. You'll hear a lot about NPS, Churn, TPV, UX Research, User Tests and split testing. It's our job to listen to them, solve their problems and come up with innovative ways to disrupt the market. Key responsibilities :
Develop, construct, test, and maintain architectures (e.g., databases, large-scale processing systems, data pipelines) that allow for the efficient and reliable processing of large volumes of data.
Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimising data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.
Work with stakeholders, including data scientists and analysts, to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture for Integrations between multiple sources.
Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional/non-functional business requirements.
Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various data sources using SQL and big data technologies.
Qualifications Must-have skills: Strong programming proficiency in languages such as Python, Golang, Java, or Scala
Fluency in SQL and ability to run performance analysis and optimization on queries
Strong knowledge and experience using a public cloud (preferably AWS)
Proven experience in creating and maintaining a data lake or data warehouse (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, etc.) and working with distributed systems
Hands-on experience with workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, Dagster, Prefect, etc.)
Experience with defining data quality metrics and using tools such as Great Expectations, Deequ, Soda, etc.)
Excellent software engineering practices and demonstrated ability in designing scalable and resilient systems (Api, micro services).
Experience with working on data transformations tool (DBT etc)
Experience with data extraction tools (Airbyte, fivetran etc)
Nice-to-have skills: Demonstrated ability to design and enforce robust data governance practices
Familiarity with metadata management tools and frameworks for effective lineage tracking (Datahub, Amundsen, etc.)
Hands-on experience with automation tools like Ansible or Terraform for efficient platform infrastructure management.
Experience with software observability and monitoring systems such as Prometheus, Loki, Grafana, Datadog, etc.
Experience with container orchestration systems and CI/CD tools (Kubernetes, Helm, Tekton, Argo)
Hands-on experience with streaming processing technology (Apache Flink, Spark Streaming, etc.) and the Kafka Ecosystem (Kafka Connect, Schema Registry, etc.)
