This role offers an exciting opportunity to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures, while providing data-driven insights to support informed decision-making within the organisation.
Key Responsibilities: Design and develop scalable, high-performance data pipelines and architectures to support business needs.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and deliver innovative, data-driven solutions.Optimise and enhance existing data systems for improved efficiency, reliability, and scalability.Implement and uphold data governance practices, ensuring security, compliance, and data integrity across all systems.Develop, manage, and automate ETL processes for ingesting, transforming, and loading data from diverse sources into target systems.Design and manage data models, databases, and data warehouses to support analytics, reporting, and business intelligence efforts.Provide technical leadership by guiding and mentoring junior team members, fostering team development and knowledge sharing.Stay current with industry trends and best practices, and leverage new technologies to drive innovation in data engineering and architecture.What You Bring: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.Proven experience working as a Data Engineer or Data Architect.Strong proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with relational databases.Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or similar frameworks.Proficient in programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala.Extensive experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.Why Apply Now?
