Senior Data Engineer

Senior Data EngineerSkillsDesign, build, and manage data pipelines for data structures encompassing data transformation, data models, schemas, metadata, and workload management.Implement complex, scalable, and robust ETL/ELT processes.Ensure the architecture supports data lineage to maintain the history of data flow and transformations.Work on data streaming projects, dealing with real-time data processing.Collaborate with other teams to build solutions for data ingestion, data cleansing, and data aggregation.Develop and maintain data dictionary and classification to document data lineage, and to provide users with definitions, dependencies, and sources of data.Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, Pentaho Data Integration and/or Faust, Kafka, Dagster, Airflow and Oracle.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure Data technologies and related tools.Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.Collaborate with other teams to identify opportunities for data acquisition and new uses for existing data.Strong communication and reporting skills.Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing environment, and multi-task.Fluent in English - written and spoken (mandatory).
