DAY-TO-DAY DUTIES:
As a Senior Data Engineer at Top Sigma, your responsibilities will include:
Building and optimizing data pipelines to ensure seamless integration between financial systems and data platforms in Azure, utilizing tools such as Azure Data Factory.Creating and maintaining scalable, high-performance Data Lakes and Data Warehouses in cloud environments (Azure).Connecting financial systems to Data Lakes and Data Warehouses in Azure, ensuring efficient ETL processes.Analyzing and optimizing ETL processes to improve data flow and transformation efficiency.Data modeling and designing robust data structures that meet financial reporting needs.Developing advanced financial reports and dashboards using Power BI and DAX.Handling large datasets using advanced T-SQL, MSQL, and SQL.Collaborating with data engineers and analysts to ensure data quality and governance in financial datasets.Performing data wrangling to prepare and organize raw data for analysis.Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, leading data architecture projects in financial contexts.
REQUIREMENTS:
Proven experience with ETL tools and building Data Lakes and Data Warehouses.Experience with Azure Data Factory and other Azure data integration tools.Strong knowledge of T-SQL, MSQL, and advanced SQL.Proficiency in Power BI and DAX, with experience creating detailed financial reports.Solid understanding of data modeling principles and practices.Experience in data wrangling and preparing raw data for analysis.Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken).Ability to work autonomously and lead data integration projects.
