We are seeking a highly motivated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Data Architect/Data Strategy Lead. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data architecture solutions that align with our organization's data strategy. You will work closely with various partners to ensure that data is available, reliable, secure, and aligned with business needs.
How You'll Make An Impact Framework and Standards: Contribute to the development and standardization of delivery management frameworks and enabling technology within Procurement for cost efficiency and enhanced service delivery. Develop, maintain, and provide guidance on data architecture and governance standards, ensuring alignment with the organization's data strategy and business needs.Collaboration and Communication: Work with various functions to clarify user requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Collaborate closely with the IT department, external providers, and multi-functional teams in an agile environment to ensure data integration and availability. Engage with partners to identify data requirements and develop data models.Data Management and Quality Assurance: Analyze data to ensure accurate representation of business requirements and targets. Implement systems to supervise and rectify data quality issues, ensure consistent implementation of data architecture frameworks, and align data security policies with the Cyber Security team to ensure data security and privacy.Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation of data architecture frameworks, including technical diagrams and workflows, as well as management-level summaries. What You Bring Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years in data analytics and development.Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; highly organized with the ability to work independently and multi-functionally.Technical Expertise: Proficient in data modeling, data management principles, and database management systems. Extensive experience with Agile/DevOps methodologies, SAP MM Module, and familiarity with other SAP solutions like ARIBA and MDG. Skilled in translating business requirements into technical specifications and in-depth knowledge of SQL, including dynamic stored procedures.Tools and Technologies: Experienced with data warehousing (preferably Snowflake), ETL processes using SQL, Alteryx, and Python. Understanding of data governance, data quality, and data security standard methodologies. Proficient with cloud-based data architecture solutions (AWS, UI tools) and BI tools (Qlik, Power BI).Language Skills: Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of German is a plus. International working experience is preferred.Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel 10-20% of the time, both domestically and internationally. About The Team

We are looking for a driven, self-motivated individual with excellent project management skills and software product services industry experience to support the implementation of our digitalization projects. You will be contributing through driving end to end process improvements across Siemens Energy while generating alliances by applying standardized solutions and supporting process harmonization.
