Technical Skills Required
Python, Snowflake (or other modern columnar databases)
Airflow, DBT, AWS (especially S3 and Athena)
Tableau (or similar Business Intelligence tools)
Tasks
Manage and optimize a sophisticated data pipeline, ensuring seamless data flow across various environments for equity analysis.
Integrate new and diverse data sources to enhance the firm's trading models. Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and portfolio managers to support high-impact business decisions.
Develop and maintain a Tableau Business Intelligence Reporting system to deliver critical insights on P&L, exposure, and risk factors. Support the data science and machine learning teams in building and deploying models that automate investment decisions.
Strong foundation in data warehouse principles.
5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, with hands-on work in managing large data systems.
Expertise in Python, Snowflake, Airflow, DBT, and AWS.
Experience with BI tools like Tableau or similar.
Knowledge of software engineering practices (Git, pull requests, continuous integration).
Excellent communication skills in English.
Experience in financial services, particularly equity investing, is highly valued.
