The Senior Consultants work continually to help ensure that their clients make the best business decisions in the light of VAT changes and development. They supervise and anticipate changes to VAT legislation and respond quickly with advice specific to their client's particular compliance requirements.
The Senior Consultants focus on the supervision of VAT declaration submissions in all countries where our clients develop strategic transactions. Also, the Senior Consultants are responsible for promoting relationship management and communicating with clients and tax authorities in several countries, as well as monitoring and following up the respective processes.
The position includes the skills to deal with clients and tax authorities in several jurisdictions, as well as the technical VAT knowledge to provide VAT services to our clients in several countries in the world. Duties And Responsibilities Identify and understand client's business and flows to ensure that VAT compliance is completed speedily and efficiently and submit VAT declarations and associated documents by the appropriate deadlines.Validate VAT data submitted by clients and the VAT declarations to ensure that completed forms follow legislation and regulations in each country.Point of contact with the client and preparation of reports and advice emails to clients.Point of contact with the tax authorities in the countries where the clients have strategic transactions.Responsible for the expertise of a country's cluster in terms of VAT rules and legislation.Handle the reception and the answer to the information requests and audits performed by the tax authorities on behalf of the clients.Assist Manager in dealing with other intricate business issues of clients.Follow up the processes of VAT registration / VAT deregistration processes to ensure that follow legislation and regulations in different countries.Helping businesses and individuals create strategies for dealing with VAT and preparing for their future in the financial market.Proactive research and update of VAT knowledge database.Manage the client's files and team by estimating the impact of each client in terms of turnover and providing adequate work / to know management costs for a client.Provide training to Junior members of the team.Education And Experience Bachelor's degree / Master's degree in Law, Management or Economics. Fluent in English (spoken and written). Other languages will also be valued in the recruitment process.Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research.
