This role involves evaluating client projects for R&D eligibility under government guidelines, guiding clients through claim submissions, and ensuring the accurate assessment of qualifying activities.
This role also leads client retention efforts, manages complex cases, and provides training, feedback, and mentorship to consultants to ensure the highest standards of service.
Additionally, the role addresses client concerns, mitigates risks, and supports the company's growth through exceptional service and compliance-focused solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities People Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve goals and provide support.Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure accuracy and minimize errors.Coach and train team members to enhance their capabilities.Communicate changes in tax legislation and key focus areas to decision-makers.Client Deliver outstanding customer service throughout the account management process.Manage complex claims, including engaging directors, C-level executives, and corporate clients.Conduct investigations to determine qualifying R&D activities through client meetings or calls.Review financial documentation and assess R&D expenditure eligibility.Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure retention and satisfaction.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet deadlines and ensure seamless delivery.Value Deliver R&D training sessions across the department.Act as a Brand Ambassador, embodying the company's values.Analyze situations from multiple perspectives to provide informed solutions.Exhibit strong project management, analytical, and communication skills tailored to various audiences.Resolve service-level risks with internal teams to optimize client experience.Maintain high levels of punctuality, dependability, accuracy, and confidentiality.Manage and prioritize multiple workstreams effectively.Perform additional duties as assigned.Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or Accounting (preferred).Minimum of 2 years of experience with the R&D Tax Relief Scheme (desirable).Strong understanding of government guidelines, HMRC policies, and R&D Tax Relief legislation.Computer Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet research.Familiarity with Power BI and Microsoft Work is desirable.
