About the role You will play a key role in overseeing and enhancing our compliance programs to meet regulatory requirements and industry best practices. You will help ensure that our games and the Fortis compliance program is consistent with applicable laws, industry standards, policies and regulations applicable across functions at Fortis ranging from game development to marketing and user acquisition. Your North Star is to help reduce legal risk and enhance user trust by ensuring that Fortis complies with all relevant laws and regulations, in line with our Global Compliance Framework. You will report to the Associate General Counsel, Compliance and work very closely with the compliance, legal, game and central technology teams to enhance our compliance program in a thoughtful manner. What you'll achieve Research and map regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions globally. Recommend and drive controls to mitigate identified risks effectively. Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive compliance policies and procedures to safeguard the integrity of our operations. Provide continuous guidance and support to the business on compliance-related matters. Collaborate closely with the business to identify issues and share best practices, fostering standardization across Fortis. Lead and manage ad-hoc compliance projects, including those related to GDPR, game design, and other regulatory requirements. Look for gaps: Identify and document gaps in compliance with respect to existing and emerging regulations and industry best practices. Prepare Easy-to-digest instructions: Together with the compliance team, prepare and draft requirements documentation to spell out what the product needs to have in order to comply with legal requirements and mitigate risk. Oversee Implementation: Manage the process of adding legal requirements into the product. Ensure Compliance: Make sure the product meets all legal and regulatory standards in close collaboration with the compliance, central and game teams
