Tasks

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality COBOL applications and systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for new features and enhancements.
Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in existing COBOL applications.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience working with COBOL in a software development environment.
Strong knowledge of mainframe environments and transaction processing systems.
Proficiency in debugging, troubleshooting, and optimizing COBOL code.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
