You'll join one of our offices as part of the Secure Foundation group. This group is responsible for developing and operating the firm's cloud-native technology stack on public cloud services. Your team members are located across the world in different time zones (Belgium, Czech Republic, Germany, India, USA, Costa Rica).
In this role, you will develop capabilities which will serve as a baseline for our client and improve the developer experience. You will contribute and learn multiple technology skills (cloud, container orchestration, network, automation) with a strong focus on standards products. You will work with various product teams with a focus on application reliability, scalability, and availability.
You will help develop and operate multiple complex features and components simultaneously that include:
Cloud adoption plans
Cloud native application blueprints
Cloud orchestration
Monitoring
You will focus heavily on the development of reusable components and automation.
Qualifications:
Degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience
5+ years of industry experience with Software Engineering best practices, focusing on cloud infrastructure
Experience with design, development, deployment, and managing secure and scalable cloud infrastructure solutions
Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and resolving cloud infrastructure issues to maintain high availability and uptime
Major cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP (with a strong focus on at least one)
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools: Terraform and Ansible
Programming languages: Golang
CI/CD tools: GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Jenkins, or GitLab
Containerization technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
Monitoring and data analyzing tools: Splunk, Elastic, Prometheus, and Grafana
Linux-based operating systems
Skills:
Ability to collaborate with developers and other engineers to implement Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) best practices
Ability to work effectively in Agile development teams
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex issues
