• What we are looking for / tasks associated with the position:
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Backend Engineer with a strong foundation in Node.js and AWS cloud services, particularly in the context of data microservices. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field and will be experienced in developing and managing cloud-based applications, with a focus on data analysis and processing. The candidate should be highly organized, capable of leading projects, and detail-oriented, with a keen analytical mind and excellent communication skills. This role requires someone who can work autonomously while integrating effectively into a small, dynamic team.
Summary: The ideal candidate has experience in backend development, with proficiency in Node JS and is simultaneously capable of developing, operating and maintaining data analysis applications on an AWS cloud data platform. Interested in developing applications in Python in the context of data science. Able to work autonomously and integrate well into a small, dynamic team.
• Must have:
- Degree in Computer Science, Statistics or relevant field
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Proven experience withNode.JS
- Experience developing on AWS
- Expertise inAWS SDK for JavaScript (Node.JS)
-Experience with AWS services such as CloudFormation, Lambda, EC2, VPC, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, SNS, SQS, Route53
- Familiarity relational databases such asMySQL
- DesiredAWS Certifications
- AWS Certified Developer – Associate
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
