We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Intelligence Specialist with a focus on Power BI to join our growing data analytics team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and maintaining advanced Power BI reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights for the business.
Experience with Azure Fabric or cloud-based data platforms is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities:Develop, design, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that align with the company's business goals and user requirements.Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and translate those into technical solutions.Analyze data from various sources to create meaningful reports and visualizations that provide actionable business insights.Work closely with data engineers and analysts to ensure data quality and consistency across all reporting solutions.Optimize Power BI reports and dashboards for performance and scalability.Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting of Power BI solutions to ensure maximum efficiency.Implement and maintain governance and best practices in Power BI report development and data security.Integrate Power BI solutions with Azure Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, and Azure Fabric to ensure seamless access to high-quality data for reporting.Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and updates in Power BI, Azure Fabric, and other related technologies to continuously enhance the reporting capabilities.Provide training and support to business users on how to effectively utilize Power BI dashboards and reports.RequirementsQualifications: Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.5+ years of experience in business intelligence and data analytics, with at least 3+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI.Expertise in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and report optimization techniques.Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and database management systems.Experience with cloud-based data platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure.Familiarity with Azure Fabric and its integration into data reporting solutions is a strong plus.Experience working with large datasets from multiple data sources, including SQL Server, Azure Data Lake, or similar cloud data environments.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Ability to work independently and lead initiatives to improve the company's BI capabilities.Experience in implementing data governance and best practices for BI development.Preferred Qualifications: Experience with other Microsoft Azure services, such as Azure Synapse Analytics or Azure Machine Learning.Familiarity with Python or R for advanced data analysis and reporting.Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau, Qlik, or Looker.We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
