Senior Business Analyst

Alter Solutions Portugal is an IT Consultancy Company, promoter of Digital Transformation, part of the Alter Solutions Group, created in 2006, in Paris.In Portugal, we partner with over 120 clients and a team of over 500 people, working in projects for industries as diverse as banking, insurance, transportation, aviation, energy, and telecom.Headquarters of the Nearshore IT center, Alter Solutions Portugal has a dedicated team of around 30 specialized professionals, integrated into projects with several internationally renowned clients.Job DescriptionGather and analyze user requirements, and translate them into detailed functional specifications.Perform quality assurance tasks, including the definition and execution of test cases.Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal clients and stakeholders.Design, document, and maintain system processes.Provide first-line support to users, ensuring their needs are met promptly.Apply best practices in communication and problem-solving within the team.Work in an Agile environment, following a Scrum framework.Liaise with Business Analyst teams based in Paris, ensuring alignment and collaboration.QualificationsProfessional or academic background in Economics, Finance, Risk Management, or Banking (mandatory).Several years of experience as a Business Analyst, with familiarity in Operational Risk.Strong understanding of AGILE methodologies.Rigorous, dynamic, and organized, with excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.Proactive, with a keen ability to listen to business needs and propose effective solutions.Other Requirements:Proficiency in English (minimum B2 level) and fluency in French (C1 level) are mandatory.Positive and collaborative attitude with the ability to work effectively in an international and distributed team.Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.Willingness to learn, share knowledge, and contribute to team innovation.Autonomous, with innovative thinking and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
