Tasks
Full remote – Portugal
International project - English official language
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient Node.js applications for various software projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features using JavaScript and related technologies.
Conduct code reviews to ensure high code quality and adherence to best practices and standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in the development process, providing timely solutions.
Mentor junior developers by providing guidance, sharing knowledge, and promoting an environment of continuous learning.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) or coding.
Good understanding of programming languages and frameworks (e.g., JavaScript, Typescript, Node JS).
Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work outside regular business hours as needed.
Good understanding of working with AWS (e.g., Lambdas, S3, DynamoDB, etc.).
Good understanding of working in a CI/CD approach (e.g., Terraform, Jenkins, JFrog, etc.).
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code for software applications.
Provide technical and troubleshooting support to stakeholders.
Test and debug code to ensure it meets quality standards and is free of defects together with IT QA engineer team.
Work with other developers, designers, and product managers to understand project requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Participate and involve in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
Create and maintain technical documentation for code, APIs, and software processes.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve coding skills and software quality.
Contribute to project/sprint planning, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring timely completion of development tasks.
Identify opportunities for process and technology improvements and propose innovative solutions.
