About the role This will be the first hire of a Senior Backend Engineer in the company. You will work closely with and multidisciplinary team of engineers, scientists, designers and medical doctors to develop, optimize and implement interface solutions that enable the use and application of our AI models. This is an exciting opportunity for those in backend development who would like to contribute to creating state-of-the-art Artificial Intelligence solutions.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience as a Backend Engineer.Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Javascript, or Go.Strong understanding of web concepts and technologies (HTTP, RESTful APIs, etc.).Experience with web frameworks such as Flask.Experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., Postgres, MongoDB).Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS or Azure.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and collaboration skills. Desirable Experience with microservices architecture and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).Familiarity with Google Cloud services.Experience in developing AI inference services.Knowledge of message brokers and streaming platforms (e.g., PubSub, SQS, Kafka).Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, Ansible).
