.Senior Art DirectorLisboa Lisboa, Lisboa, Portugal Job Description: SENIOR ART DIRECTOR Reporting to: Creative Supervisor/ Head of Art / Creative DirectorAs part of the Creative department, you will be working in defining and executing creative concepts. In your day-to-day life, you will collaborate with creative copywriters, content specialists, editors, among many others. Your tasks could cover anything from searching for references to executing visual concepts. The work done in the Creative department is the cornerstone of our agency, and a team of people and departments work together towards building ideas powered by people. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Reporting to the Creative Supervisor / Art Director / Creative Director, you will be responsible for supervising the Design and Creative team in creating content across all media channels. You will oversee design executions and create visual responses to briefs with the collaboration of junior member designers or art directors. You should know how to define a creative concept and creatively develop and shape it according to the briefings assigned to you. A Senior Art Director assumes the lead role in all aspects of project execution and is always prepared for any changes with contingency plans. You will also be responsible for high-level clients/projects and for managing and mentoring more junior figures. You should have a keen eye for details and knowledge of the creative process to assist the team, especially when doing up. LEADERSHIP Take the lead role for all executional aspects of the project.Lead, guide, mentor, delegate, and manage the work of junior members of the Creative Team. Motivate others with proven ideas.Provide timely feedback to the junior team, so they can refine their conceptualization and art direction.Effectively communicate throughout the Agency.Have confident communications & interpersonal skills in order to clearly communicate (verbally and in written form) key messages to a wide variety of audiences (client and internal team), and to advocate the team's ideas.Excellent presentation skills. Able to craft inspiring and clear decks to present the team's work.Persuasive ability to influence, motivate and sell brilliant ideas to others.Ensure the adequacy of the creative product. Review and approve artwork developed by other team members. WORK BETTER TOGETHER Keeps the team up to date on important information like the progress of tasks.Be well-prepared for any changes with contingency plans.Ability to confidently manage multiple projects at the same time and be focused on their own objectives.Ability to work autonomously and happy to team with other creatives when it is necessary, even if they are not art directors.Speak out and value during larger brainstorms for turnaround briefs.Be hungry to deliver exceptional work, not necessarily to win major awards, and help the agency grow
