Its unique culture gives true meaning to a "beyond banking" personality: to be a real entrepreneur, self-challenging, ever striving to excel and go that extra mile.Job DescriptionThis team is responsible for areas of accounting, treasury, tax, reporting and account consolidation.Main tasks and goals:Prepare asset, liability and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account informationDocument financial transactions by entering account informationRecommend financial actions by analyzing accounting optionsSummarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement and other reportsSubstantiate financial transactions by auditing documentsMaintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and proceduresReconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account informationSecure financial information by completing database backupsVerify, allocate, post and reconcile transactionsProduce error-free accounting reports and present their resultsAnalyze financial information and summarizes financial statusProvide technical support and advice on managementReview and recommend modifications to accounting systems and proceduresProvide input into department's goal setting processPrepare financial statements and produce budget according to scheduleDirect internal and external audits to ensure complianceSupport month-end and year-end close processDevelop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controlsQualificationsMain Technical Requirements:Degree in Accounting and Finance; Minimum 5 years of experience in similar roles; Knowledge of PowerBI, Excel Power Pivot and other relevant toolsOther Requirements:Be part of Ordem dos Contabilistas Certificados (OCC); Good level in English minimum C1 level (mandatory); French is a plus;Good problem solving skills and attention to detail; Ability to work in a team; #J-18808-Ljbffr
