As Senior Accounting of an International Group, you will play an important role in overseeing and managing all accounting operations. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with international accounting standards, and the development of efficient accounting processes. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, M&A, legal, and operations, to support the company's financial goals and objectives.Key Responsibilities:Preparation and submission of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, in compliance with international accounting standards (IFRS);Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and reporting obligations;Monitor changes in accounting standards and regulations and make necessary adjustments to financial reporting processes;Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and reconciliation processes;Develop and implement standardized accounting policies and procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial operations;Collaborate with finance teams to prepare annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts;Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting;Collaborate with the financial risk management team to identify and mitigate financial risks;Coordinate and manage external audits, working closely with external auditors to ensure a smooth audit process; and collaborate with tax experts to optimize the company's global tax strategy and compliance;Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making, investment evaluations, and growth initiatives.Profile:Bachelor's degree in Accounting,Finance, Economics, or similar;Proven experience in international accounting;Chartered accountant registered at Ordem dos Contabilistas Certificados (preferred);Proficiency in financial software and systems, as well as advanced knowledge of spreadsheet and data analysis tools (SAP and Excel preferred);Advanced level of English (mandatory);Strong knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS) (mandatory);Steadfast communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders;Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions based on financial data;Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced international business environment.What do we have to offer?Competitive salary aligned with experience;Attractive benefits package including health insurance, pension plan and meal card;Flexible work environment and work-life balance;25 days of holidays;80 days per year of flexible work;Free birthday day;Being part of an international environment.We want an energy transition for everyone from everyone!#J-18808-Ljbffr
