.Onport empowers Marketplace & Dropshipping models to thrive through connectivity with future-proof automation, allowing Retailers, Brands, and Marketplaces to create, set up, launch, and scale their online Marketplace. We streamline the key areas of backend marketplace operations and tackle the most common pain points of any marketplace business. We are looking for an experienced highly energetic and passionate Senior Account Executive to join us as the key part of our Sales team with the clear focus of helping us scale our operation globally and contribute to making Onport a SaaS leader. Your role Understand clients' pain points and match those to the solutions Onport can provide, with a consultative approach, being creative in finding ways to unblock deals; Handle complex commercial and technical deals being personally responsible for closing high-value deals Lead contract negotiations with large companies Lead customer meetings and workshops to define use and business cases and define clearly the customer's needs; Understand how to access key players (companies and individuals) and navigate large corporate companies and use this knowledge to generate new leads across relevant industries; Ability to manage a significant, complex pipeline across multiple industries Conduct market research to identify potential new market opportunities with a clear focus on winning business for Onport; Collaborate closely with the Head of Sales to establish a territory "plan-of-attack", including target companies, target prospects, and messaging; Become a subject expert on identifying new technology trends on the industry, customer and partner side that need to be incorporated in future releases; Set and conduct meetings and represent Onport at events and conferences; Maintain Onport's internal tools with customer-related content throughout all sales journeys, to keep CRM systems and other internal tools up to date; Be an advocate of thecompany's culture, vision, and core values. Main requirements Remote position (preferably based in Porto, Portugal) Proficiency in English is a must, with the ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally to all levels of business. Other additional languages are a plus. Do not apply if you are not fluent in English 4+ years of experience in consultancy and/or selling to corporate companies with complex sales cycles. Preferably previous experience in working in e-commerce
