What you'll be doing: Act as a Security Operations Engineer, collaborate with SOC/SOG and global business units stakeholders on design/deployment/management of core security tooling focusing on risk reduction. Develop and execute delivery plans in collaboration with wider Cyber Security Architecture team. Be part of Cyber Security Projects in order to enhance and develop the current security posture of Maersk environment. Work with Engineering/Network Perimeter and other teams to implement appropriate security solutions and tools based on the level of risk identified. Establish clear understanding and documentation of processes related to cyber security tooling. Support the integration and implementation of security controls for global Information Technology. Leverage security automation tooling and develop playbooks and workflows based on operational use cases. Ensure the deployment of security tools is achieved with the minimum of impact to business. Support the maintenance and the configuration process over the Network security capabilities. To succeed in this role, we believe that you can offer: Proven experience of minimum 2 working years in a Security Engineering or Operations capacity within an Enterprise organisation. CEH, Comptia S+ or CySA are highly recommended. A University Degree in engineering, computer science or similar technical related area. Detailed understanding of IDS/IPS technology and related network access control concepts. Experience with enterprise network monitoring, leveraging toolsets such as Checkpoint, Akamai, Zscaler. Knowledge of networking concepts (e.G. TCP/IP, LANs, VLANs, routing/switching, WANs, Firewalls, IDS/IPS). Experience with Azure is recommended. Administrative Knowledge of Windows and/or Linux OS
