Headquarters of the Nearshore IT center, Alter Solutions Portugal has a dedicated team of around 30 specialized professionals, integrated into projects with several internationally renowned clients Descrição do emprego As a Scrum Master, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective functioning of software development teams within a banking environment, using Agile methodologies. Your focus will be on coaching and mentoring Scrum Teams, removing impediments, and facilitating the smooth execution of Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. You will be expected to manage team performance, foster collaboration across multiple teams, and provide expert-level guidance on Agile and Scrum practices. Your role will also include offering solutions to any challenges the teams face, both within their immediate context and across broader team structures.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and guide the Scrum Teams in adopting and implementing Agile methodologies effectively within a banking contextFacilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectivesAct as an enabler by identifying and removing obstacles that prevent the team from achieving their goalsCollaborate with multiple teams, ensuring alignment and consistent Agile practicesMonitor and report progress using appropriate metrics, ensuring transparency in processes and delivery timelinesMentor and coach team members on Agile best practices, continuously improving processes and delivery outcomesServe as a subject matter expert (SME) on Scrum, offering guidance and solutions for complex challenges within the development lifecycle Habilitações Proven experience in the banking industry 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile CoachExpert proficiency in Scrum, with a deep understanding of Agile principles and practicesDemonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams in Agile adoption and continuous improvementExperience working with multiple cross-functional teams, ensuring cohesive and collaborative deliverySolid experience in facilitating Agile ceremonies and removing impediments
