Offer Description Workplan: The work plan will be in HCI, in order to support the research within nature and cultural patrimony. Handle different tools to conduct studies in real scenarios, as for example in public spaces and other important surroundings. To collect and analyse relevant data, as well as preparing the results for presentations and scientific publications.
Duration: The research fellowship(s) will have the duration of 6 months, renewable up to the maximum of 12 months, including the duration of the initial contract. It's expected to begin in December 2024.
Application Requirements: It is mandatory to formalize applications with the submission of the following documents: i) B1 Form – Fellowship application ( link ); ii) Curriculum Vitae ; iii) academic degree certificate, where applicable; iv) proof of enrollment at an academic degree course or at a course that does not award an academic degree; v) motivation letter.
Admission Requirements To be enrolled at a professional higher technical course, at a bachelor degree, at an integrated master or master degree, or to have a bachelor degree and be enrolled at a course that does not award an academic degree and it is integrated in the educational project of a higher education institution, performed in association or cooperation with one or several R&D units.
Additional Information Monthly maintenance allowance: The amount of the monthly maintenance allowance is € 601,12, being the payment method by Wire Transfer.
Selection Process Selection methods: The selection methods will be: Curricular evaluation (AC), recommendations letters (CR), interview (EI): AC (5, 50%), CR (2, 20%) and EI (3, 30%).
Composition of the selection Jury: Hugo Nicolau (Associate Professor, IST); Nuno Nunes (Full Professor, IST); Prof. Daniel Simões Lopes (Associate Professor, IST).
Announcement/notification of the results: The final evaluation results will be communicated to all applicants by email.
Workplace: The work will be developed at Interactive Technologies Institute from IST-ID, under the supervision of prof. Nuno Nunes.
