To join our team, at our campus in Alfragide, Lisbon, we are looking for a Primary School Assistant for a Maternity Cover.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Administrative support to the Primary Learning Leadership department.
Administrative support to teaching and associate staff.
Provide general office duties as required including attendance tracking and follow up.
Receive and register requests for cover requirements for illness, trips, internal and public exams.
Take morning phone calls and check messages for cover needs.
Arrange room changes for lessons, meetings, therapies, special events etc.
Assist in the coordination and management of software relating to the tracking and monitoring of pupil welfare.
Administrative support for the organisation of academic events such as parent evenings.
Manage the early learning school reception providing high quality administrative support, ensuring the smooth running of a busy Reception.
Be responsible for the student's process (receiving documentation, checking and organizing all documentation).
Be responsible for creating and updating logistical maps (student contacts, departure authorizations, extensions, purchases/budget, tours, among others).
Collaborate in the enrollment process with the admissions department (receive documentation, validate and organize).
Be responsible for receiving documentation relating to School Insurance (staff and students) and reporting to the Human Resources department.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE: Excellent administrative skills (Google, Drive, Excel), i.e., solid knowledge of general office procedures, proven front desk handling skills, experience in responding to routine letters and emails.
Be fluent in English and Portuguese (spoken and written).
A positive attitude and approach to change and development.
Ability to relate to and empathize with pupils and families and to develop trusting and respectful relationships with them.
Respect for confidentiality of information concerning individual pupils and ability to use discretion in circumstances of disclosure.
Confidence with use of ICT.
High school certificates or equivalent.
