Information Technology (IT) acts as an internal function developing, running, and maintaining the IT systems and platforms Nokia is running on. Develops and maintains applications to meet the business needs of the organisation. Covers the performance and monitoring of day-to-day database and system activities as well as the provision of remote support to users regarding hardware and software problems.
Subfamily Description
IT Advancement & Design (ITA) comprises further development of information technologies and IT platforms for business solutions and services. Covers driving of proactive needs analysis ensuring that business needs, demands, and challenges are well understood, and that business execution plans and capabilities are delivered on time and within budget. Contains management of demands and priorities while assuring alignment with the corporate strategy and budget. Comprises optimisation, harmonisation, and implementation of Nokia's IT environment and systems by providing area-specific knowledge. Covers representation of the whole IT organisation to global or regional business stakeholders and user communities. Works closely with the different service providers that are part of the IT eco-system, governs their performance, and acts as the main interface between IT and the business including incident escalations. Comprises identification of opportunities for process and concept development as well as improvements. Covers planning and managing of the development, testing, and implementation of process/concept improvements and system changes at own responsibility area. Contains translation of requirements into system terminology and functionality as well as the delivery of process and system end-user training.
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
SAP ILM is Nokia's chosen option for data archiving of all SAP systems for both cold and hot archiving (read-only or in-use systems, respectively). The decision is to have an internal Architect responsible for executing these archiving projects and maintaining the ILM system hosted in SAP RISE, with the following tasks:
Perform Requirements Gathering and conversion of Business Archiving Requirements into Technical Solutions.
Identify the Read-only systems to be archived and create technical solutions for archiving with data accessibility options.
Execute end-to-End data archiving to meet the approved technical solution using Nokia's SAP ILM solution.
Develop retention plan for Archived data in ILM as per compliance policies in alignment with corporate and regulatory requirements.
Design ILM reports based on business requirements, collaborate with ABAP team for development and implementation.
Validation of archived data/reports with key business users.
Managing ILM archiving solution as part of regular BAU maintenance.
Monitor ILM storage as part of capacity management.
Experience on ILM authorization concepts and able to work with Authorization teams.
Interact with SAP for bringing new ILM features for implementation.
Key Skills And Experience
Knowledge & Experience
Bachelor or master degree with Minimum 10 years of SAP archiving experience with different SAP modules - FIN, Logistics, HR, etc.
Minimum 3 years experience in SAP ILM archiving, for both E2E cold and hot archiving.
Experience on minimum 2 end-to-end archiving implementation using SAP ILM.
Experience on SAP BASIS & ABAP and ILM authorization concept.
Building effective teams and holding them accountable for results.
Closely collaborate with stakeholders and 3rd party vendors supporting Infra and other systems connecting to SAP.
Understanding about SoX and Audit Procedures. Ability to execute IT Controls, handle Internal and external Audit from SAP Basis perspective.
English mandatory.
