EDP GBS is looking to recruit for a SAP Financial Consultant for the Asset & Project Accounting area.

What you will do: Manage cycle life of assets: Create, Acquisition, Transfer; Disposal, Scraping; Management Assets under construction - WBS element (work breakdown structure); Management of Lease Agreements (IFRS 16) under SAP-RE; Period-End Closing Operations: Run Depreciations; cost of dismantlement; impairment losses; Perform local GAAP adjustments as required by local legal/tax rules; Support Fixed Assets team with the specific parametrizations in SAP-AA and recommend improvements; Support to the various geographies/platforms of the EDP group in the preparation of financial information for reporting to the Corporate Center.
Employment type: Full-Time Work site: Hybrid Model What are we looking for: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Management, or a related field; 5 to 8 years' previous experience in SAP consulting - Financial Area; Knowledge of SAP particularly Fixed Assets Module; Knowledge of IFRS 16 knowledge of Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel; Resistance to stress, high communication skills; Creative spirit and self-initiative; Fluent in English.
