Then become part of our international SAP Support Team at our location in Albergaria-a-Velha (Portugal). Purpose: Provide SAP BASIS Services for our SAP team globally. Your tasks: Ensure the SAP based systems operate reliably and efficiently in a secure environment.
This includes assisting with the configuration and maintenance of High Availability and Disaster Recovery SAP solutions;Provide support for other applications and services as requested by the SAP Centre of Excellence.
Contribute as possible where the area is outside of the job holder's technical expertise;Provide second/third line technical support in areas where the job holder possesses unique technical expertise;Ensure effective root cause analysis and problem management;Provide technical and operational expertise for Major Incident Management and ensure timely resolution of Major Incidents;Provide technical feasibility and appropriateness of proposed incident and problem resolutions when alternative solutions are available;Provide appropriate assessment of SAP OSS notes with regard to relevance for Lixil Operations;Perform detailed planning and project management of implementation activities for updates and patching where required;Perform system health audits to validate system status and report to SAP Centre of Excellence Lead;Ensure the adherence of SAP functional best practices are adhered to during Incident and Problem investigation and resolution;Complete quality documentation for the SAP environments;Liaise with the functional SAP experts and business teams in order to assist with the ongoing functional support of SAP;Build, manage and maintain effective relationships with SAP Centre of Excellence, third party suppliers and the Business streams;Perform different types of upgrade (Kernel upgrade, SPS upgrade, version upgrade, EHP upgrade).Your profile: Proven SAP Basis operational expertise of minimum 5 years or more in both support and implementation scope of work;Attitude to listen and understand the needs of respective parties - effective and skillful communicator;Experience with working in a relevant international environment doing incident resolution, problem management and change request/enhancement support;Self-starter to work under limited guidance and instructions;Positive, proactive, enthusiastic attitude, self-motivated;Excellent logical thinking mind to differentiate sequence of events;Excellent critical thinking skills to identify root cause of issues to drive for efficient results;Operational Basis Administration Experience in S/4, ECC, BW/4, CRM, Content Server, Web Dispatcher, SAProuter, BO BI Platform, BO Data Services, etc.
