Job Description
Being part of Continental's Group Sector Tires, as Authorization Coordinator you will be working in the area of SAP ERP systems, processes and projects supporting the worldwide SAP User community bundling topics related to SAP authorization and user administration.
The SAP Authorization Consultant is responsible for maintaining SAP user accounts and authorizations to ensure that users access the system in accordance with defined business processes and security policies.
The consultant provides support and advice and works closely with the SAP Authorization coordinator and other technical teams to support SAP authorization administration, troubleshooting, and implementation of changes to the environment.
Key responsibilities:
Manage SAP user access by creating, modifying, and terminating user accounts and authorizations;
Conduct regular assessments of user access rights, identify risks and make recommendations for changes to mitigate risks;
Implement and maintain SAP authorization profiles and roles in accordance with defined standards and best practices, supporting design and concept;
Monitor and troubleshoot SAP authorization issues and provide end-user support;
Collaborate with experts from Central Key Users and IT teams on role design to ensure business requirements and system security aspects are fulfilled;
Develop and maintain SAP authorization policies, processes, and procedures and ensure audit-proof documentation;
Support SAP security and authorization audits and compliance reviews;
Report and document security incidents and investigations as required;
Develop and maintain user training materials and deliver training to ensure key and end users understand SAP security policies and procedures;
Stay current with the latest SAP security and authorization trends and technologies;
Support evaluation and analysis of business requirements to develop authorization strategies aligned with business and security objectives;
Support development and maintenance of SAP authorization and user management policies, processes, and procedures;
Support implementation and execution of Internal Controls (ICS) regarding authorizations and user management, including mitigation measures for SOD conflicts;
Take responsibility for own work packages in big SAP projects in the area of authorization and user administration.
Qualifications:
Academic degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related qualification;
3-5 years of experience as an SAP authorization and user administrator, or work experience in an SAP environment with experience in those areas;
Knowledge of SAP landscape architecture, modules, and integration points;
Experience in managing SAP user accounts and authorizations;
Understanding of SAP security and authorization best practices and industry standards;
Thorough knowledge of GRC Tools, Authorization Management, as well as Identity and Access Management (IAM) tools;
Project management skills;
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills;
Excellent communication skills and intercultural sensitivity;
Autonomous work style and ability to integrate into a team;
Professional working proficiency in English (verbal and written);
Open to international travel (up to 10%).
