To leverage Lisbon's tech spirit and infuse it into its brand-new Tech Competence Centre, our Client is looking to reinforce its technical capabilities on state-of-the-art technology and respond to the growth of their business. Their Lisbon teams will be an extension of its central Group Platforms teams and will be fully integrated in the core technology workforce. Responsibilities Design and build APIs: Crafting efficient and secure APIs that can transfer data between SAP and other systems.
API testing: Rigorous testing to ensure that the APIs are error-free and meet performance standards.
Documentation: Creating comprehensive guides and documentation to assist other developers in understanding the APIs functionality.
Integration: Incorporating the APIs into existing software applications both SAP and non-SAP.
Security: Implementing advanced security protocols to protect data integrity during API transactions.
Work closely with SAP functional consultant to deliver, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance SAP functionality.
Prepares technical designs document and unit testing.
Proposes robust solutions to meet the functional needs.
Builds professional relationships with team members and clients, to ensure delivery of proposed solutions.
Academic Background Bachelor's or Master's degree in information technology or computer science or equivalent experience.
Skills & Experience 3+ years of experience with SAP Odata developments.
3+ years of experience with SAP ABAP and CDS developments.
Knowledge on creating/updating OpenAPI specification (e.g. with Swagger).
Strong understanding of REST API principles.
API Design.
Previous experience working on international projects.
Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) is a nice to have.
Proficiency in English is mandatory, French is a plus.
