About the Role:
Reporting to the Ostomy Care (OC) Regional Sales Manager, the Sales Representative will grow the turnover and market share of the area. They will roll out the commercial policy in the market segment they are responsible for within the hospital network: users, prescribers, and purchasers in public and private settings, in-home care, and retirement homes.
The Sales Representative will support healthcare professionals and provide appropriate information regarding the proper usage of the product range. They will be responsible for ConvaTec's corporate image towards healthcare professionals and other stakeholders in the area.
Key Responsibilities:
Hospital:
Prospect and develop priority targets (prescribers, purchasers).
Set up information sessions for hospital staff.
Drive sales negotiations, prepare, and manage tenders with key stakeholders.
Create and develop professional connections with opinion leaders in cooperation with ConvaTec Medical Department.
Community:
Prospect and develop priority targets (nurses).
Set and manage professional meetings.
Both Channels:
Promote products and solutions of the ConvaTec Ostomy Care range.
Roll out action plans and campaigns.
Drive and report activity in the CRM tool.
Capture and transmit vigilance alerts.
Conduct competition watch.
Main Contacts:
Healthcare professionals (prescribers and purchasers) in hospital and community segments.
Regional teams of resellers and service suppliers.
Ostomy care ConvaTec regional teams.
ConvaTec Iberia central teams (marketing, medical, regulatory affairs).
About You:
Open to change and continuous improvement, perseverant, positive, and bring dynamism and ethics to the team.
University degree, preferably in Business or Scientific fields (nursing will be valuable).
Previous experience in sales of medical device products and/or prescription market.
Autonomous with a proven track record of success.
Strong business acumen, entrepreneurial spirit, and strong sales propensity.
Ability to inspire interlocutors with a winning manner and scientific consulting competence.
Ability to establish long-term, successful customer relationships.
Familiar with modern sales techniques and driven by the desire for success.
Great analytical skills and proficient in MS-Office.
Valid driver's license and availability for overnight displacements.
Intermediate level of English; Spanish is a plus.
