We are looking for a Sales Representative in the North region of Portugal to join our Cardiac Surgery (CS) Operating Unit! In this exciting opportunity, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing the Cardiac Surgery business with existing and new customers in line with the business guidelines and strategies for your sales territory while meeting financial and non-financial targets. You will also collect market intelligence data, follow, report, and advise on the strategies. The working territory is North of Portugal and Madeira, and you will preferably be located in Porto or Coimbra. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: Maximize sales by performing all activities from product introduction and presentation to contract negotiation, in line with the sales strategy. Identify, prepare, and execute upcoming tenders. Build and maintain strong, lasting business relationships with key opinion leaders and decision-makers influential in the purchasing process. Regularly report on these relationships via the provided systems and to the Sales Manager. Analyze the market in the corresponding region, develop an effective territory/account sales strategy, and plan sales coverage/resources in the most efficient and economical manner in conjunction with the regional sales manager. Increase penetration in existing accounts, develop existing accounts into potential new product therapies/patient therapies, and convert non-buying accounts. Train, educate, and provide technical support to customers and relevant hospital staff on Medtronic products. Support clinical activities upon request. Ensure proper control of consignment and all other stock levels according to asset management guidelines and targets. Continuously acquire and maintain knowledge about products, technology, the market, healthcare environment, sales tools, and processes.
