For our Business Unit Railcar Europe in Spain, Madrid, we are looking for you as Sales Manager Intermodal (d/f/m) as soon as possible.
Responsibilities: Active support of existing customers and potential new customers, taking into account the entire product portfolio.
Identification and materialization of new business opportunities in the intermodal transport sector.
Market observation (competition, new players, economic development, etc.).
Establishing and expanding sustainable customer relationships.
Creation of customized, needs-based, individualized solutions and offers.
Negotiation of contracts until signature.
Cross-departmental collaboration, e.g., in the areas of product development, sales, and the responsible operational units.
Representation of the company at trade fairs and events.
Management of CRM tool.
Your Profile: Completed commercial training, ideally supplemented by a degree in business administration or economics.
Proven experience in sales, ideally in the field of logistics and railway business.
Customer orientation, sales affinity, and persuasive ability.
Basic knowledge of intermodal logistics and intermodal flows of semi-trailers, containers, and swap bodies.
Analytical and strategic work as well as entrepreneurial skills.
Agile mindset and independent way of working.
Good presentation, moderation, and communication skills in Spanish and English.
Experience in working with CRM systems.
Willingness to travel regularly within Spain and Portugal.
