Sales Area Manager Portable Air - North of Portugal To grow and develop the Portable Air division in Portugal, we are selecting a Sales Area Manager for the North of Portugal. The ideal candidate is a professional with knowledge in portable air compressors and related applications across different market sectors, good knowledge in the manufacturing industry, and B2B experience with proven success in selling capital goods.
She/He will report to the Business Line Manager of the Portable Air Division in Portugal.
Role & Responsibilities Successfully pursue the achievement of sales targets assigned to the area and to individual dealers/retailers/end-users in accordance with Business Line strategies.Develop a distribution network based on specialist dealers, resellers, and rental companies.Improve market share through relationships and sales to direct customers/end users.Manage territory effectively.Utilize CRM (C4C) to manage prospects, leads, opportunities, and sales quotes.Conduct in-depth market analysis and segmentation to identify potential segments and channels to promote the product range.Ensure professional development on products and sales strategies through training sessions, reading manuals, and technical magazines to maintain Atlas Copco Portable Air products as a reference brand.Develop partnerships and manage agents in the area to ensure a consistent order flow.Present sales materials and promotional programs.Train partner staff on new products, services, and sales tools.Liaise and collaborate with local service colleagues for aftermarket activities.Cooperate with the marketing team to develop effective brand communication and awareness to generate new leads and opportunities.Provide updated feedback to management on market requirements, new products, competitors' products, networks, and product technical issues.Able to travel to Angola to assist in business development through appointed dealers in various sectors.Reporting Register customer base, sales activities, quotations, opportunities, and leads daily.Actively use the CRM system to report and seize cross-brand opportunities.Utilize CRM (C4C) for periodic reports related to activity, lost orders, closings, follow-ups, and performance against sales goals.Conduct sales funnel analysis.Experience Requirements Proven experience in value sales with high technical knowledge.
Knowledge Fluency in Portuguese.Good knowledge of English.Proficiency in IT tools like MS Office, Outlook, SAP, and C4C is an added value.Educational Requirements High School Diploma; Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering disciplines (electrical, electrotechnical, and mechanical engineering preferred).
