About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated SHE Manager to work with our management and middle management teams, ensuring compliance with statutory health, safety, and environmental (SHE) requirements according to Flora Food Group's corporate guidelines. In this role, you will be responsible for advising on SHE regulations, helping to implement safety systems, and promoting a culture of safety across all levels of the organization.

You will:

Advise management on statutory health, safety, and environmental requirements impacting company operations, ensuring alignment with Flora Food Group's corporate guidelines.

Assist management in implementing legal and company SHE requirements.

Develop, review, and monitor the implementation of safe systems of work.

Deliver SHE trainings (e.g., toolbox talks, inductions), investigate incidents, analyse data, and present findings to the management team.

Engage with all organizational levels to promote a culture of safety that ensures every employee returns home safely and environmental resources are protected.

Inspire and influence others to adopt responsible working practices, highlighting how SHE management enhances operational performance.

What do we expect from you?

You are an experienced SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) professional with over 5 years of expertise in a manufacturing environment, holding a master's degree in engineering or a related field, along with a 6-7 level safety certification. Fast, agile, and with a proven track record of supporting SHE activities, you set world-class manufacturing standards and thrive in fast-paced environments. Determined, hardworking, and passionate about making a significant impact in the factory, you possess strong leadership and communication skills. An innovative problem solver, you bring a proactive and dynamic approach and are fluent in both Portuguese and English.
