Andaz Lisbon is set to become the second Hyatt-branded hotel in Lisbon. Located in the center of Lisbon's bustling Baixa district and situated along the main pedestrian road, Rua Augusta, the hotel will be comprised of five separate buildings, including the former offices of one of the major banks in Portugal, Banco Português de Investimento (BPI). This central building of the hotel will offer 170 guestrooms, with the surrounding four satellite buildings of the hotel offering guests various private suites to choose from. This unique Urban Resort in the city center will allow guests to fully embrace the locale and experience authentic Lisbon.About the roleAs part of the responsibilities of pre opening, The Rooms Division Manager is responsible to ensure effective and efficient workplace flow with the Housekeeping and Front Office departments in line with the standards of the Andaz Lisbon. This hands-on role provides the perfect opportunity for an inquisitive, passionate and customer focused professional to set clear strategies and goals to enhance the experience of the guest and our colleagues, and at the same time maximizing revenues and controlling costs.Main Duties include:Overseeing the guest experience from check-in to check-out for all guests, working through each Head of Department to ensure a seamlessly perfect guest experience and make adjustments where necessary.Maintain consistent and effective flow of communications between Housekeeping, Front Office, Maintenance and other departments.To ensure that all company minimum brand standards have been implemented, and that optional brand standards have been implemented where appropriate.Oversee hotel inventory and ordering supplies.To ensure that each cost center operates with the lowest possible cost structure while also delivering on the brand promise to the guest.To build and deliver brand-led experience that will contribute to exceeding hotel NPS and customer service scores.QualificationsIdeally with a degreeCurrently in the role
