Job Description
In your role as RnD Compound Developer, you are responsible for the development of innovative rubber compounds according to customer requirements via our internal gateway processes.
You demonstrate and ensure the performance capability of newly developed compound concepts in the initial industrialization phase (Pilot).
You develop and maintain know-how regarding the transfer of tire performance to compound properties. You will also be leading compound development projects and participate as a team member in other RnD projects as required.
You are involved in the pro-active integration of sustainable materials in the development process. To ensure our competitiveness, you perform patent and literature screenings and right to use evaluations on a regular basis.
Qualifications
Academic degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or comparable fields
Minimum 3 years of experience in the Automotive Sector
Working experience in material development or related fields desirable
Project management skills (preferable)
Strong customer and quality orientation
Self-organization and ability to work with autonomy
Good communication and interaction skills
Proactive problem-solving mind-set and willingness to learn
Capability to lead cross-functional teams
Intercultural competency along with clear and open communication abilities that support the growth of diversity
Solid computer skills and Office tools
English language skills (written and spoken)
Availability for travelling
