Offer Description
A researcher position (M/F) is open within the vine virus biology and biotechnology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for isolating and characterizing Nanobodies against various targets of biotechnological interest.
Creation of a Nanobody library
Isolation of Nanobodies by phage display
Characterization of Nanobodies
Production of recombinant proteins
Project management
The host laboratory is the Institute of Molecular Biology of Plants (IBMP), an independent unit of the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) in Strasbourg. The IBMP is a leading research unit in plant biology in France, with international recognition. The recruited individual will join the "Vine Virus Biology and Biotechnology" team, working in collaboration with a contract researcher on the team and supervised by C. Ritzenthaler.
Minimum Requirements
A PhD (M/F) in molecular biology and biotechnology is required, with strong theoretical and practical knowledge in these fields:
Knowledge of basic experimental approaches in molecular biology and biotechnology
Display techniques (phage display, yeast display, etc.)
Expression and purification of recombinant proteins
Use of laboratory equipment (spectrophotometer, electrophoresis devices, centrifuge, PCR, etc.)
Proficiency in basic computer tools
Written and spoken English proficiency (at least level A2)
Organizational and time management skills
Writing skills
Rigor and professional conscientiousness
Interpersonal and teamwork skills
