Offer Description
Applications are open for 1 Research Studentship, within the framework of project/R&D institution FCT/ERC-Portugal 1801P.01397 – GravNewFields, ERC - Richard Brito, financed by national funds through FCT with the financial support of FCT through national funds.
Workplan: The fellow will be expected to study binary systems in which a compact stellar object orbits a Proca star (i.e., a bosonic star formed by a vector field) in its ground-state, using perturbation theory and in the Newtonian limit.
Duration: The research fellowship(s) will have a duration of 6 months. It's expected to begin on January 2025 and may be eventually renewed up to the maximum of 24 months, including the duration of the initial contract.
It is mandatory to formalize applications with the submission of the following documents: i) B1 Form – Fellowship application (https://ist-id.pt/concursos/bolsas/); ii) Curriculum Vitae ; iii) academic degree certificate, where applicable; iv) proof of enrollment at an academic degree course (Master, Integrated Master).

Selection process
Selection methods: The selection methods will be the following: Curriculum evaluation and individual interview, with the respective weight of 50%+50%.
