We are looking for a qualified Research Fellow to join our team under the PRR framework, and work on the Production of Sodium-Ion Based Structural Batteries project, for the New Generation Storage Agenda. Job Duties The job duties will be the following: Perform the R&D activities as planned in the project ; Collaborate with other academic and industry partners wit hin the consortium on joint R&D; Report to supervisor and pr oject leader(s) on R&D progress; Publish project results and communicat ing the results i n project/professional meetings; Engage in other project dissemination activities. Mandatory Qualifications Education PhD in Electrochemistry, Materials Chemistry, Materials Science and Engineering, Nanotechnology or other related field. Experience and Technical Skills Hands-on experience in alkali metal batteries, parti cularly current collectors ; Extensive knowledge ofbattery chemi stry and electrochemical performance assessment; T rack-record on batter y materials research, preferably on high-surface-area current collectors, in the form of scientific publications and/or patents as the leading author. Preferred Qualifications Technical Skills Knowledge of sodium-ion batteries and all related safety requirements ; Knowledge of structural batteries; Knowledge of surface treatment s and surface modification.
