It includes training on technology transfer and a one month secondment at the Foundation for Research and Technology - Hellas (FORTH; in Greece).Job DutiesThe job duties will be the following:Design mechanical and electronic systems (i.E., ECAD, MCAD); Plan and develop physical prototypes for mechatronic and optical systems; Participate in technology transfer training activities.Mandatory QualificationsEducationMSc degree in Electronics, Physics, Mechanics, or other relevant subject.Experience and Technical SkillsExperience in mechatronic system development (e.G., robotics, adjustable objectives, imaging systems); Experience in mechanical CAD design (e.G., Inventor, SolidWorks) and rapid prototyping (e.G., CNC, 3D printing, laser cutting); Experience in setting up laboratory instruments for automatic characterisation; Experience in data analysis and scripting languages (e.G., Python, Matlab); Knowledge in electronics and PCB design (e.G., Altium).Preferred QualificationsPrevious experience in development of mechanical modules for optical systems is valued; Previous experiencein designing optomechanics for laboratory experiments is valued; Experience in building characterisation setups, including computer interfacing (e.G., Labview, Matlab or Python) and data acquisition (i.E., Labview or Python) is valued; Previous experiencein NFC tag programming is valued
