The RoleWe are seeking a highly capable and enthusiastic lab-based Research Associate to join the Discovery & Engineering Unit at our Porto site. You will be responsible for identification and optimization of antibody molecules applying our display technologies and screening methods. Your responsibilities will include the planning, design and execution of experiments, data analysis and interpretation, preparation of reports and communication of the findings to the team and customers. A positive and solution focused mindset is required to deliver on a wide range of intellectually challenging projects following standard operating procedures and documentation quality standards.

A Ph.D degree in a relevant field and/or at least 3 years practical laboratory experienceUnderstanding and proven practical experience of molecular biology and cellular biology techniquesExcellent planning and organization skillsProactive with problem-solving aptitudeThe ability to work independently and actively collaborate within and across teamsExcellent command of the English languageFamiliarity with any of the following would be an advantage: Display technology techniques (e.g. phage, yeast, ribosome display)Single B-cell technologiesAny other experience relevant to antibody discovery & engineeringRelevant experience in an industrial or commercial environmentWe OfferIntegration in a highly motivated team;Working in an international environment;Does this sound like you?Come and build your career with us!
